it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As technology becomes more prevalent and competes with teachers for students' attention, gamification has never been more useful in bridging the gap of equity in learning. Through the use of innovative and creative modes to allow students to learn and grasp materials while leveraging their love for gaming and e-sports.
Leagues™ is an academic-centered program that I created which aims to improve testing outcomes and build community by bolstering student engagement through the gamification of education.
Fifteen teams go head to head in Ranked Matches to show off their ELA and Math skills, win prizes, and rise to the top of their League to be crowned League Champions.
Artificial intelligence is infused in various ways to interpret and utilize data trends, create informed groupings, and design Leagues storyline, content, and assignments.
The snacks that I am asking for will serve as a prize incentive which will further inspire students to engage in their educational community. It is proven that students learn best when they are actively engaged and have a multitude of positive reinforcements. Snacks are particularly appealing because many of my students who attend school also face barriers such as hunger. My goal is that all my students will actively take ownership of their learning journey and be able to have fun while doing so.
