Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The students need art experiences in class. Art classes or specials are not offered in the school as a special class like gym and music. Art helps students to find a special way of expressing themselves. Art will give the students the chance to experiment with colors, and materials both inside and outside of the classroom. Paint, paintbrushes, and canvases will allow the students to use their imagination and create many wonderful ways to express themselves through drawing, painting, creating, and using various materials. I will give my students many ways to think outside of the box. Art releases many thoughts of creativity in the students. They enjoy, pasting, gluing, drawing, painting and using their imagination to form creative thought.
