This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are thrilled to unveil a transformative project centered around a district arts showcase, igniting the creative flame in our students by providing them with essential supplies such as origami paper, glue guns, rhinestones, paint, paint brushes, cups, bracelet making kits, and air dry clay. Your invaluable contribution to these art supplies will serve as the catalyst for students to embark on a journey of self-expression, using their creativity to explore profound themes related to mental health.

This initiative comprises three vital components.

Firstly, your support for art supplies lays the foundation for students to articulate their thoughts and emotions, encouraging an exploration of mental health themes. Secondly, the inclusive nature of the district arts showcase beckons all to participate, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that not only celebrates creativity but also underscores the importance of understanding and supporting mental health.

Beyond the showcase, our commitment to integrating mental health involves implementing mindfulness activities, providing art therapy resources, and extending support to students addressing emotional or mental well-being concerns. Your contribution will directly contribute to the creation of impactful art projects, serving as a powerful medium for fostering empathy, understanding, and overall well-being.

Our dedicated student leaders are actively driving this initiative, organizing and promoting the showcase, and guiding their peers in crafting projects that shine a spotlight on mental health. Through open conversations, shared experiences, and creative expressions, we aim to elevate awareness and garner support for mental well-being.
