This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our little ones are 4/5-year-old that are full of curiosity. They learn through exploration and hand-on activities. Our UTKs are at school for a full six hours. Many of these students have never experienced school. This is their first time in school. Part of our schedule includes outdoor learning.
Our students love to explore the outdoors.
They love to draw and paint what they see. Their vision of the outdoors is very different from our view. Art is vital to the growth of our students. With students this age, the product is not as important as the process. Art generates creativity, sharing, the love for the outdoors, vocabulary, visual expression, spatial intelligence, color recognition and academics.
Help us develop the love of our environment through being outside, making art and self-expression. The paint and glue in this project will make all of this possible.
