My Project
The students in my class are a bright bunch of kiddos that are excited to express themselves through their creative outlets. We are currently sharing some limited supplies. However, I feel as if I am holding back their skills to some degree because of the limited materials. I feel as if they will be able to soar high in their ability with the correct materials.
I want to see big things happen for these students and encourage them in their dreams.
I had the dream as a young girl to become a teacher and I was able to make that happen with support. I love to hear about students who want to be artists, musicians, chefs, singers, the list goes on and on. My big goal in my career is to support these students to reach their goals starting in second grade. The students are currently working to increase their creative side in their writing projects. The students are working on not only being the author but being an illustrator. These materials would help students make their illustrations in our writing projects come to life. We currently use pencil drawings. Having the ability to add color with these markers and triangular crayons, so that students can add life to their drawings would be huge!
Getting these materials to supply the students with simple tools to reach their goals would be a huge accomplishment. I appreciate any donation that would help me support my students in reaching their goals!
