Help me give my students a great art experience by providing Play-Doh modeling compound and a movable cart for outdoor use and traveling to classrooms, as well as an opportunity to individualize a 3-D art experience!
As an elementary art teacher, I get to be one of the few teachers in the building that gets the opportunity to see and build relationships with every single student. Cadott is a small community, where student's families work hard to provide what they can. The school is a very important part of this community and works hard to support families.
My students, these amazing little humans- keep me on my toes, make me remember what it's like to believe in magic, and energize me to be here every day.
They challenge me and make me laugh and I am blessed to have them in my life!
My Project
The art cart that is requested will make it possible to provide an easy transition from art room to outdoor spaces, as well as regular classrooms if needed. This will allow flexibility for student learning environments.
The Play-Doh containers will be used to provide students with a more individualized sanitary option for a 3-D art material.
Students will be able to put their names on their individual containers. This will allow them to continue to practice dexterity and fine motor skills. Students would also be able to use this material in the art room and from home, if necessary.
