This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The upcoming project in the ninth-grade physics class promises to be an enriching experience that bridges the gap between scientific understanding and artistic expression. By choosing topics that resonate with them personally, students will have the opportunity to explore the complexities of environmental issues deeply.

The art exhibition will serve as a platform for the ninth graders to share their knowledge and creativity with younger students, making science more approachable and relatable.

Students will be able to use the linoleum carving sheets to express their creativity. Through hands-on activities and interactive displays, they will engage elementary school students in discussions about environmental stewardship, encouraging them to think about simple actions they can take to protect the planet. By acting as educators and role models, the ninth graders will not only reinforce their own understanding but also inspire the younger generation to become more environmentally conscious citizens. This project, therefore, holds the potential to create a ripple effect, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility that extends beyond the classroom.
