Help me give my students art supplies for distance learning. Oil Pastels, Sharpie Markers, and Pencils will allow all 3rd graders at our school to be creative from home.
Who knew last spring that when we said goodbye in March, we would be saying goodbye for the rest of the school year? This abrupt end left many of my students without the resources they needed to successfully continue their education at home.
As Mary Ann Kohl said, "The Arts encourage children to think, developing skills and confidence as they go." This fall, I'm determined to make sure all of my students have the supplies and resources they need at home to continue their art education.
My students will continue to be instructed in art by our wonderful art teacher, Ms. Yao. These supplies will allow them to have the tools they need to express their creativity.
My Project
Creativity is an outlet for many students, now more than ever children need to be able to express their emotions in a way that best suits them. This project will provide art supplies to every third grader in my school so that they can continue to develop their artistic knowledge from home.
Simple supplies will make a world of difference for students who are living through a global pandemic in which they are separated from their friends and teachers.
With these supplies, my students will be able to create art all year long!
