My Students

Thank you for your interest in helping the art room at our academy.

At our school, we have an amazing group of students (Grades 3-12) who each have unique abilities and accommodation needs, including an IEP, or Individualized Education Plan.

Our students overcome a variety of challenges every day (ADHD, Autism, Auditory & Visual Processing Disorders, Dyslexia, etc.) and every contribution helps their success.

Your donations will improve the art room learning atmosphere by leaps and bounds. A more sophisticated and supplied art room will improve students’ creative, problem solving and communication skills. Thank you!

My Project

With the little funds I receive for supplies, I have a hard time purchasing visual supports for the art room. My students and I can chat about and create art all day long, but seeing is really the best learning tool. Because most of my students are visual learners, they would benefit most from seeing artwork on the wall every day to form their own opinions.

During lessons, showing my students examples of different works with diverse styles would help them easily visualize the subjects and vocabulary we are learning.

They would be able to look at various works of art and compare them to their own, developing their own style.
