Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kids love Art Time. I'd like to provide different art materials for my students to let their creativity shine.

My school is a small, Title I school where a lot of my students qualify for the reduced price or free lunch program.

Many students come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Most are English language learners, speaking English as their second language. This year I have students mostly in Transitional Kindergarten and some in Kindergarten. My students come to school eager to learn each day.

My Project

My students can't get enough of painting and creating art projects every day. With the Washable Fingerpaint, I'd love to have my students have fun touching the paint with their bare hands on the Easy-Clean Craft Trays. They will get to explore art and create their own master pieces. Roll-On Confetti Glue and Easy-Stick Glitter Shapes would be so much fun to decorate any art project to dress it up. With the Superbright Sulphite Construction Paper, my students will be able to create all kinds of letter art, number art, seasonal art and more. I don't usually give my students markers. Having the Smelly Markers would be a special treat for them. I will let my students trace their work with the fun markers. With the Face-Painting Stampers and Washable Face Paint, I'd like to reward my students with face painting once in awhile. How fun!

I believe having creative art time is very important for children.
