This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books I am requesting will support in being able to give my students many different art activities. The canvases, brushes, and and paint will be used as part of my therapeutic practice with students. Art is and effective coping skill that many of our students identify as their favorite to use when needing to calm down or deescalate.

These art items will give our students the opportunity to process and heal through art therapy.

The art supplies will help me be able to continue implementing art therapy in our sessions and allow students the opportunity to communicate through drawing and most importantly begin to heal.
