Art Therapy With City School Students

My Project

I am a school social worker looking to incorporate art into therapy with students in RCHS. We will use art to process feelings and for creative projects they will be able to take home. The art canvases and tiles are for painting. The tin containers and essential oils are used to make diffusers with calming scents. This incorporates mindfulness techniques. The cards and envelopes allow students to write messages to special adults, friends or family members. This lesson is abut kindness and gratitude. I meet with students for small group and individual counseling.
