My Project

I am going from teaching in a resource type model to a center based special education model. The students will be with me all day. I teach a number of students with emotional behavioral disabilities and autism. They are very interested in art and STEM. I am hoping to build more art and STEM tools like magnetic blocks and a weaving loom for my classroom.

The art supplies that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional options for art and STEM classes.

These will be extremely beneficial for students that need breaks from academic times. They can also be used during social skills instruction!

I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
