My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. I want to introduce them to all types of art and different ways to express themselves. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet.

My Project
Over the 8 years I have been teaching, my tables have been beaten down, written on, carved in, wiggle and squeak. With the pandemic this year, my school is getting improved with lots of paint. I would really like to continue the improvement by getting my students new art tables for the art room. With these new tables, students will be able to do awesome art without the need to put something under their paper in fear that lines will show through. Help make our art room shine by helping me purchase new art tables. Thank you in advance!
