My Students

My students are energetic, polite and enthusiastic. They are also highly creative individuals with very positive outlooks on life. They help their fellow students without even being asked. They are readily accepting of any other individuals that transfer in and they are always open to new experiences. Even as we add the middle school to the high school students, they all have a desire to learn and grow as individuals that I have rarely seen in the 36 years I have been teaching.

My students are preparing to meet the world head on and their desire and ability to learn and participate are simply amazing.

I need your help to prepare them to approach life with creativity, enthusiasm and instill the desire to continue experimenting and learning. This project will help make this happen by organizing the classroom with the addition of the middle school students and their supplies!

The community as a whole is very supportive of the students and district but the lack of funding has left us with no budget for some somewhat unusual purchases.

My Project

The 7th and 8th graders will be moving into our high school and my little art and GT (Gifted & Talented) room needs some real help to prepare! The room is actually an old cafeteria so there is no built in storage. My new students will be coming in the fall with a curriculum to follow and tons of new supplies to store.

"Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up." ~ A.A.

Milne. We are desperate to organize so the students can have more opportunity to learn! It is easier to learn when things are no so "mixed up!"
