Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to express themselves through art.

I want our students to see themselves in the classroom.

Our art supplies will be diverse, just like our population. In order to allow representation of all of our students, we need multicultural paint and colored pencils for all skin tones.

The drawing paper and colored paper will be used to show creativity. The beads will be used for bracelets. The rocks and paint will be used to make kindness rocks by painting them and giving them to another student to build a classroom community with new learners from different countries.
