Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will be able to use art supplies to create visual representations of our texts. Recently students have enjoyed creating one pagers related to themes in To Kill A Mockingbird. They analyzed quotes representing mob mentality in contrast with independent thought, drawing scenes of Atticus outside the Maycomb jail protecting Tom Robinson from a potential mob.

The supplies are running low and the variety of colors will give them more freedom with their representations.

Additional supplies include organization and cleaning supplies, including a vacuum, to keep the environment clean and welcoming.
