Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a teacher in a PreK-5 elementary school in the South Bronx. We are a Title 1 school and over 90% of the students receive free school lunch.
My request is a simple one. I need construction paper, especially white paper, for various school projects. One activity that I enjoy is having the students make their own books. The only paper available in my school supply room is yellow manila paper, which does not make attractive books.
Construction paper is an elementary school goes fast. Colorful paper serves as an eye-catching background when putting up student work.
