Art Supplies for Teens to Support Mental Health and Learning

Help me give my students art supplies to support their mental health and learning at the same time.

My Project

I am excited to start the new school year with new groups of amazing students. I am planning on incorporating more art opportunities for my classes. In this project, I am requesting canvases and acrylic paint markers so students can create art to show their learning, express themselves and support their mental health. I am requesting a drying rack to help organize their art in the classroom. I am also requesting air-dry clay so that they can use their hands to create symbols and physical representations of their learning. Lastly, I have requested rags and cleaning spray to help us keep our classroom nice and clean.

This project is requesting art supplies that will facilitate my middle schoolers in both supporting their mental health while also demonstrating their learning.

I plan on using the supplies to ask students to create scenes from books and texts, as well as to demonstrate the sequence and then analyze the impact of different historical events.
