This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My diverse group of 6th-grade students is currently exploring art and color theory through hands-on projects that foster creativity and self-expression. Tempera paints help them understand how to mix and apply primary, secondary, and complementary colors. Canvas provides a sturdy surface for painting, encouraging students to experiment with texture, layering, and brush technique. Additional art supplies like brushes, palettes, and sketchbooks support their ability to plan, create, and reflect on their artwork. These materials empower every student to develop artistic confidence and a deeper understanding of visual concepts. Let's create!
