My Project

I am a first-year art teacher at an urban, under-resourced school. I am setting up a new program this year.

My school has around five hundred students.

We are currently working on several projects for the end of the year. Kindergarten and first grade are creating a collaborative mural with a coral reef theme. The materials I am requesting will help them to add vibrant colors to the animals and plants they are creating.

I teach thirty classes a week, grades K-5, with two, self-contained Special Education classrooms as well. Students at my school speak over thirty native languages and come from all over the world.

These students thrive when getting to experience different artistic modalities and I want to expose them to as many types of art as possible. Please help me make the end of this year epic! I greatly appreciate your support in obtaining this variety of art supplies!
