My Students
My students are great, they are ready to learn and they come into class. There are many smiling faces in my classroom. The girls will come into class and give me huge hugs, the boys will come into class and give me fist bumps. I love these little kiddos because they are full of energy and just want to participate in all aspects of school. Many of my students are EL students and they just love to participate and help where they can. My students are quiet and I love to hear them when they have a suggestion or a question.
My Project
Students in my school have a lot of things happening in their lives. I want to be able to provide them with different mediums to share their ideas and to illustrate what they have learned. Incorporating art is one thing that I strive to do. When art is involved students are more involved.
With art students are able to show what they have learned in a different style and be creative. Art is not a given at a Title 1 school like mine, but having these resources at the ready I will be able to tap into the students creative sides and see how different students learn, through the different styles. .
