This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These art supplies will make a significant difference in my students' learning by providing them with the tools to express themselves creatively, enhancing their problem-solving and critical thinking skills while supporting their language development. My goal is to create an engaging, inclusive environment where students can explore their cultural identities and build confidence in their abilities, using art as a means to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps.

Through this project, I aim to foster both personal growth and academic achievement by encouraging students to communicate their ideas in diverse ways.

What makes my dual language students special is their resilience, adaptability, and unique ability to navigate and integrate multiple languages and cultures. They bring rich perspectives to the classroom, and by providing them with the proper art supplies, we empower them to connect with their learning on a deeper level while celebrating their individuality and cultural pride.
