Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a vocational program which aims to introduce our new generations of teachers to the art of education and an insight on the realities of adulthood.

We are in need of art materials for these high school students so we can begin our work on exploring and opening up the doors for creativity and imagination, two things which can be hard to achieve without the necessary tools.

With such tools, students can create artwork that expresses the beauty and sophistication of their brains.

Such artwork and creativity can create a greater understanding of important topics such as fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and other vital parts of understanding a child and what they need to properly learn and grow. With this newfound knowledge our new generations of teachers can master the preschool environment along with the skills to teach those preschoolers.

This project is supplying these soon to be teachers a way to express themselves through art activities which will build confidence and new teaching skills. It is important for all students in all grades to have engaging work, so not only are they being supplied with creative and engaging work, but they are also being taught tactics of keeping their future students engaged and truly interested in their work, leading to the easier comprehension of sometimes hard to process topics.

Sadly, we are unable to do a lot of these worthwhile activities due to our lack of supplies. Any amount can help us, thank you.
