This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love having access to bright, bold and varied colors for their artwork. Many of our favorite washable markers have been discontinued or are hard to find.
The Crayola 40 pack markers contain all the wonderful colors we could ever need- the charcoal pencils are perfect for outlining, shading and doing dropped shadows.
Having access to these supplies would help my students create their best bold and creative artworks. Many of the students in my elementary visual arts classroom do not have access to art supplies at home and it would make them feel valued to have them at school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
