Art Supplies for a Year of Creativity in STEAM

My Project

I teach in a low-income, Title I school, where most of my students live in poverty. Despite obstacles to learning, my students are motivated to learn and excel when provided opportunities and materials to do so. I work hard to create diverse lessons that utilize both technology and hands-on activities to create meaningful learning experiences. As the STEAM teacher, I desire to provide every student in the school quality arts integrated projects.

My students are more engaged in learning when they have the necessary materials to bring their creativity to life.

They enjoy creating models and representations of the world around them. No matter what the science or math standard is behind our lesson, students leave my classroom with a tangible and personal creation that connects to their learning.

Of course, with over three hundred students working on projects in my classroom each week, the students' favorite mediums are the ones I run out of each year. Supplies need to be restocked so students can continue making models, sculptures, sublimation prints, paintings, paper crafts and more! There is no limit to their creativity! I'd be grateful for these supplies, which I ran out of last year, to be replenished so my creative students can continue demonstrating their creativity in the new school year.
