This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our art studio, we use a wide range of materials in different mediums to create beautiful, unique, creative works of art. I love giving my students the opportunity to use different materials so they can experiment, and find out what type of art they feel passionate about making.
In our studio, we are constantly making art, and we go through a lot of materials, that can limit our abilities to create for fear of running out.
These materials are much needed for our art studio, in order to continue creating paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, and collage. The more materials I have, the more I can offer my students, and in turn the more art they can make, giving them the ability to proudly show it off to their peers, teachers, and family. My students light up when they come into the art studio, and always ask, "Miss Edelmann, what are we doing today?"
