My Students

As a second year elementary art teacher, I seek to inspire and engage my 800+ students! Through the power of visual arts, students learn to be open-minded, empathetic, and critical thinkers. They follow their heart and learn to take risks. I am able to develop relationships with my students, treat them with respect, and show them that I truly care about their well-being. Often these doors are left closed in the classroom, but in the art room we are able to change that.

Art education allows for deeper connections, giving students the ability to trust that their ideas, thoughts, and questions are all valid.

I aim to give my students the tools to open up their minds to the world around them, and grow into optimistic and creative individuals!

My Project

These art stools will help complete a classroom set for our art room. With these stools, students will be able to move around the classroom and have more of a range of motion at our tables. We will also have more space in the art room to complete projects. Our current chairs are very heavy, wobbly, and cracked, so new stools would help keep our room cleaner.

We would love to have these new, clean, and compact stools for our art room.

Most of the time, in a regular art studio, stools are available because of the flexibility they offer to the artist. Please help us make this seating need come true!
