My Project
My students are bursting with imagination and curiosity! They approach every art lesson with excitement, eager to turn their ideas into something tangible. Whether they’re sketching, sculpting, or experimenting with colors, their creativity knows no bounds. I love how art gives them a voice - shy students light up when they see their work displayed, and confident artists beam with pride when they try something new. Every child in my classroom has a unique perspective, and art helps them express it in ways words sometimes can’t.
Sculpting with clay is a magical experience for young artists.
It builds fine motor skills, patience, and problem-solving as they mold 3D creations. Some students struggle with drawing but thrive when they can shape their ideas with their hands—this boosts their confidence and shows them there are many ways to be an artist!
Bold, clean lines help students refine their drawings and add striking details to mixed-media projects. These markers encourage them to commit to their ideas fearlessly (no erasing!), teaching them that "mistakes" can lead to unexpected creativity. Plus, outlining their work in black makes colors pop, giving their art a polished, gallery-ready look.
