Most of my students hail from economically challenged families. They have extremely difficult family lives. When they come to my art room students are able to enjoy good quality art lessons using fun materials like neon pastels and metallic markers. It gives them a reason to smile, work enthusiastically and it also gives them a realization that their teacher has set high expectations for them by providing engaging lessons and fun art materials. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will enable me to obtain engaging art lesson plans that are not only academic in nature but also lay emphasis on Social Emotional Learning. My students are in a great need of integrating SEL lesson to the regular lesson plans. They students love to paint. As we all know that painting can be very messy and my kids need a strong classroom management techniques for us to sail through a painting art project. The spill proof painting cups will help me help my young Picassos.
