Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My artists will gain confidence and be inspired to create additional amazing art pieces as they see their original works in proper art frames throughout the school building. They will view their school as a museum containing their works of art.

My goal is to encourage our artists to hone their craft and take pride in their artwork.

By showcasing their talent throughout the school building they will learn that there are options beyond their imagination with regards to career choices. I know that having their work featured in this way will motivate them to focus on their skills to improve their work and experiment with various art mediums. They may even begin to consider a career in the arts. I will help them build their portfolios and apply to middle schools that offer the visual arts as an option.

My students are. so perseverant. They never give up and love taking on the challenges of new art styles, mediums and tools. I want to support them in any way I can.
