My Project
Emotions and feelings, we all have them. The best way to express them is what we all need to learn. My students will be studying art throughout history as well as some of the various techniques used. They will then have the opportunity to express themselves and their emotions by applying some of the techniques to create their own pieces of art.
These art supplies will allow their creativity and their expressions of self to shine.
“Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art,” Don Miguel Ruiz once said. Using charcoal pencils will allow them to learn to draw and use shading as a technique. Watching the paints react with the watercolor paper will help them to see the beauty of their art. Zentangles are a type of drawing or doodling that is calming to the mind. Having this type of knowledge will help them learn different, positive ways to express their feelings and emotions.
