Gifted students reveal a thirst for knowledge. Give them some guidance and parameters, then watch them go. They will try different things, use original and visionary thinking and definitely put their own spin on their individual learning. Using iPads allows my students, the freedom to research the topics and areas they desire, as well as providing various opportunities to display and present their new learning in creative ways. There is a plethora of apps that allow me as the teacher, ways to differentiate to the specific needs of these go-getters. By funding this project, we can keep these resources available for these students at all times, allowing for relevant learning.
