Help me give my students a library of artistic reference books to use in their creative journey.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school located in a predominately Hispanic and African American neighborhood. While my students may be short on funds, they are rich in ideas and creativity. Art provides them with validation, expression, and imaginative freedom.
My Project
Having a library full of diverse and informative artistic references will allow my students to have access to a multitude of drawing, painting, and sketching strategies. Students, when stuck or frustrated, will have the freedom and independence to locate a book that will help guide them through the artistic process. Having these resources will not only encourage students to engage in reading and research, but it will also make them independent and self-sufficient learners. These books can be used for a wide variety of age groups and will assist in teaching countless projects.
