My Project

Teachers in our district are allocated $250 for classroom technology, resources, and supplies, which falls significantly short, particularly for educators like myself who serve approximately 350 students weekly. The entirety of my Teacher's Choice allowance was exhausted even before the academic year began in September. Presently, the urgent need for additional resources to adequately support our students has never been more apparent.

I am seeking essential art room supplies such as fine-tip markers, decorative craft scissors, and ice cube trays for paint storage.

This academic year presents an exciting opportunity for me to integrate English as a New Language (ENL) instruction through visual arts. In my role as an ENL teacher, I employ artistic mediums to facilitate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills development. Students engage with renowned artworks through discussions, written analyses, and ultimately, by creating their own inspired pieces. While these art projects foster creativity, they also entail substantial consumption of supplies on a weekly basis.

Your assistance in procuring the fundamental art supplies that my students both need and deserve would be immensely appreciated.
