My Students
My group of students love to move and love to learn. We are busy bees from morning to afternoon. We read books, work on writing and building words, we create and make fun crafts that go along with our theme each week. We also have Food Friday and make a snack to enjoy at the end of the long week.
My kindergarten students are at so many different developmental stages, but loving to learn through music is one thing we all have in common.
If you were to ask some of the students in my room, they'd tell you that Mrs. Reed has a song or a rhyme for almost every subject we learn.
I'm proud of this group of kindergarteners and can't wait to see what all they will accomplish the rest of this school year!
My Project
Right now when my students complete an art project that needs to dry, the papers end up on the floor spread out or on any extra flat space we can find. I always have to remind students to watch where they are walking so they don't step in paint and then quickly pick them up off the floor when they leave for the day so the room can be swept. Having an art rack would help the space issue we have and make an appropriate space that gives value to my students' projects. I already have a spot for it picked out!
