My Project

My name is Sue Whitehill and I am a first grade teacher at a Title I school in Portland, Oregon. My students are SO hardworking and deserve to have some fun on top of their academics! Our art teacher is only here 9 weeks of each year so the classroom teachers try to integrate art into the curriculum whenever possible. I am asking for a plethora of art-related read-aloud books and art materials so that I can enrich the reading/writing curriculum and provide more art experiences for students. There is currently no budget for supplies to do any sort of art project. Please help my students have the opportunity to explore art materials and have fun!
