Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting colorful construction paper, including a handful of white construction paper. My students work hard and having this paper will truly make a difference in their lives as they will be able to create crafts from our units in study in all subjects. We can create art craft projects in science, math, language arts and social studies. Every week, I plan and try to fit in one art project that is relevant to our learning. This is a great way for my students to stay engaged and excited to come to school and learn with just some art projects.
My goal for this project is to give my students more opportunities to create things through art without having to worry about the cost of supplies.
My students are special as they are all unique and very creative in their own ways. Having this paper will make our learning fun and memorable. They will be able to keep these projects and share with their families all that we have learned in second grade.
