This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Tracing or transferring images has been a technique used by artists throughout the years. It helps with fine motor skills pre-writing skills, concentration and focus, visual-spatial skills and creativity and drawing skills.
Having this projector as a resource for our classroom will be invaluable to my students who need modified lessons as it can help them develop hand-eye coordination and muscle memory that is important for controlling the materials of drawing.
Tracing an image can also help students focus on the physical demands of drawing without worrying about whether they are getting it right.
