Help me give my students essential art supplies to use when we go back to school. They will use the supplies to make posters, timelines and decorate boards to show historical events. Art makes students smarter.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 11th grade students are hardworking and motivated to pass the AP U.S. History exam in May. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box as they explore their own experiences and the history of the United States! Over 90% of my students will be the first in their families to attend college. My students are always willing to grow both personally and academically. Their ability to adapt to online learning, their level of responsibility, and empathy to care about each other truly inspire me to try to be a better teacher each day.
My Project
All of our students want to learn history in a fun way. Before COVID, I used a variety of group projects, presentations, propaganda posters, gallery walks, and even simulations to teach history. Unfortunately, I am low on art supplies and I want to be ready for in-class instruction when it's safe to reopen our schools in East Los Angeles. Our students have been working too long on the computer and individually. The excessive amount of screen time has taken a toll on their socialization and creativity skills. If we were to go back to school in March 2021, I would not have sufficient art supplies for my students. I want my students to have a rich classroom experience with their peers when we go back to school next year.
My goal is to have a variety of art supplies for students to choose from to create their art projects and expand their knowledge of history.
I have seen first hand how excited my students get to work on a history propaganda poster or a history timeline. The students are more engaged and more likely to remember the content of the class.
