After five years of delivering art instruction from a cart, we are going to have a space to use as an art studio next year. I'm thrilled to be creating this room from the ground up, but there are some things that we need to help us be successful, organized artists.
We need a big book storage unit to safely store our class portfolios and 2 dimensional projects.
Every year, all of my classes decorate a large class portfolio. The portfolios give each student a sense ownership of their class, helps to protect their work and keeps the work of my 14 classes organized. The big book storage unit will help us to continue to stay organized as we transition from art on a cart to an Art Studio. The big book storage unit will fit the 14 class portfolios, allow students to be responsible for pulling the class portfolio out and will also take up a minimum amount of floor space, giving us more room to create art.
