My Students

My art students love attending art class! They are enthusiastic about creating and exploring different types or art and mediums. I love giving them the opportunity to be creative, use their imagination and create a masterpiece.

My students have been through a lot this year with Hurricane Harvey and art class gives them an opportunity to learn and create.

Due to the storm, we are only able to attend school for half a day at our High School campus which is 15 minutes away. We will be sharing classrooms and materials with the high school all year, due to the amount of water in our middle school campus.

My Project

My students LOVE to paint, but there is not a place in our classrooms to store their paper and artwork in progress, especially to dry. Many times their artwork gets stuck to another students and destroyed before making it on our art display or home to proudly show their parents. The mobile taboret and table rack will help organize and store their ongoing projects in a safe and effective way.

With so many items being destroyed by Hurricane Harvey, these resources will help to begin to restore the Art Classroom.

In Art, I can give my students a place to freely create and hopefully safely store their masterpiece.
