My Students

Update: I will be teaching at a new school site in the upcoming school year due to the unfortunate closure of my previous school. Thank you for choosing to support my students.

My students are eager to experience what it feels like to be an artist, a maker, and a creator.

They are full of dreams and ideas for themselves and want to express their uniqueness in the work they do.

All my students are open to new experiences and aren’t afraid to take creative risks. The only thing that is holding them back is the lack of resources and supplies necessary to make their passions come to life.

Our school is located in the bustling city of Los Angeles. We are surrounded by so much energy, culture, and languages. We are a community that fosters healthy relationships and we strive to support each other as a family would.

My Project

Teaching in a new classroom requires setting up the room to yield a safe and organized environment for learning. An ideal art room should be well-stocked and organized in a clean way for students to access.

I want to maximize the classroom space by including organizers such as a drying rack to keep student artwork in place.

I am also requesting classroom basics that weren’t included in my art budget for the school year.

Some of these items include drawing markers, rulers, portfolios for artwork, still life props, origami paper, and color wheels. These items are necessary towards fulfilling the arts curriculum for the school year.
