Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach fine art in an under served community. These students are very talented and passionate and I would love to give them the supplies needed, and that they deserve. I have been teaching visual art for over two decades in as wide of a population from museums to juvenile hall. For over a decade I have been teaching at a wonderful school for the arts where we do not discourage students from attending through cost or auditions, we want everyone to come and explore the arts no matter financial constraints. Please help me keep my art nerds creating their art.
