I teach 28 awesome kindergartners. I teach a wide range of learners with many different abilities. Each one has a gift, and it is my job to find them and give them the love of learning.
I love the energy 5-year-olds bring every day!
I am working really hard at setting up a 21st-century classroom with experiences that will help these kiddos as they grow. Technology, creative expression, and collaboration are all important components of my classroom. I love my job, and I love these kids. Thanks so much for helping!
My Project
We would like to think that all kids come to school with the motivation to do their best, but like adults, who doesn't need a little incentive from time to time? With these stickers, tagboard, and bug collector (kindergartners love bugs) we can create a brighter classroom.
Stickers are a great way to speak to that intrinsic motivation and recognize positive student behavior.
Not only is it a concrete acknowledgment, but it is public — one that can be seen by other students, teachers, and family members. Stickers are not just tokens; they are badges of honor.
A go-to resource for engaging activities for teachers is Teachers Pay Teachers. What's more...they have Google docs ready to go for in-person or distance learning.
DonorsChoose is the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
As a teacher-founded nonprofit, we're trusted by thousands of teachers and supporters across the country. This classroom request for funding was created by Mrs. Wisniewski and reviewed by the DonorsChoose team.
