This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pairing books with art or books with science is a goal I have each year. Our school has incredible literature choices, but is lacking in the supplies we need to complete the math equation: Books + art supplies = treasured literary experiences; Books + science supplies = memorable science activities.

When pairing literature with meaningful activities, memories are born!

And, those memory stories are what kids share at home with family and friends. They keep those banked for years to come.

It's a great way to build relationships as well.
