I am the luckiest teacher in the world. I am fortunate enough to get to work with students who are eager to learn and experience new things. They inspire me every day to be the best teacher I can be.
My 3rd graders are compassionate, caring, and grateful for new opportunities to learn and grow.
Our school is in a small rural community. Most of our families are low income, so resources are not always available. It's my goal to give them the best education possible as well as memories that will last a lifetime.
My Project
My students are very active, and they love creating things with their hands. Unfortunately our art supplies are limited. With your help they will get the opportunity to experience a variety of art materials including water color paint on specially designed water color paper, sketching pencils and pads, pastels, and clay that they can mold into different objects. Art is a very important subject for students, one that should not be overlooked because of limited supplies. These materials will help my third grade class express themselves through different art projects. I can already see their eyes light up when they see the new materials they will get to work with.
