These markers are for all students to use for our visual arts program at SOFBK. We have minimal color choices in our markers, and they cannot do smooth color blending. Our students are capable of a professional level of art and design work, and their options for colors and being able to blend them. Our students have many projects, and having these markers will help them create better. We also have a portfolio group of art students preparing portfolios for their application process for specialty art high school, which is very competitive in NYC. Art supplies should not be another hurdle for our students but it is. Future Projects: FutureZine (Zine-magazine drawn and reprinted using a copy machine), Recycle Reduce Reuse posters, drawing from observation, portraits, figures, and landscapes, typography: hand lettering, graffiti. Help our students make their mark with better art markers.
