My Students
My students come from low-income areas and low socioeconomic backgrounds. One hundred percent qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We lack many everyday school supplies, and many of the parents cannot afford to buy their children pencils, folders, and other essential supplies for school.
Many of my students come from low-income households.
Eighty-five percent of the students are English Language Learners, so many do not receive much help at home due to language. The teachers at our school are mentors to the children. We want all our students to succeed. The school provides a caring and warm environment to learn.
My Project
With these materials, students will be able to express their thoughts onto paper. We can display their beautiful artwork around the classroom and the school campus. Art is expression and creativity. This is why I requested crayons, color pencils, glue, scissors, and paper. the bulletin board paper will make the class more lively and we can post our art another work we do in class. I want my students to be able to show off their creative side. Art is a way to express thoughts. I remember when I was in school I loved to do artwork. We do not have any art supplies at all. With these materials, students will be able to express their thoughts onto paper. We can display their beautiful artwork around the classroom and the school campus. Art is a way to express thoughts. It would make the classroom more lively with artwork hanging up by the students. They will be able to be creative! These supplies would allow my students to design numerous projects. It is great to have my students use their creativity and make projects that they can use and give as gifts.
