My Students
Do you remember how exciting it was to create art projects in elementary school? Art is a fun, engaging, and motivating way to help students explore new learning. Nowadays, art is the first thing to go from the classroom when schools are faced with tough budget cuts.
I am a third grade teacher in a small, rural school district.
There are 22 students in my classroom, ten boys and twelve girls. My students come to school everyday excited to learn and anxious to see what fun activities the day has in store for them.
My Project
My students deserve to have art in their classroom. The construction paper/card stock will be used immediately in art projects that support learning in a variety of subject areas including science and social studies. These materials will enhance my students learning and provide meaningful, yet fun ways of exploring lesson topics.
Please help keep art in the classroom and readily available for my students.
Your donations will have a positive and immediate impact on the lives of twenty two third grade students.
